·        A case of Robbery has been registered in Surathkal Police Station relating to an incident of chain snatching. On 10/03/2011 at 1630 hrs at Nagarjuna Colony Kulaigudde Kulai village Mangalore Taluk, one Meji D Souza (60) R/o Krishna Nagara Nagarjuna Colony Kulaigudde Kulai village Mangalore Taluk was on her way to home by walk. At that time two unknown person came in a Honda Activa scooter and snatched the gold chain from her neck and ran away with their Honda Activa scooter. The value of the property is Rs. 25,000/.

·        A case under Cruelty by Husband and his relatives along with Dowry Prohibition Act has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station on the complaint of one Sonali W/o Raghavendra Babu R/o Alvaris road Kaibattal Kadri Mangalore. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Raghavendra Babu (husband) and his relatives Babu Shetty (65), Bhanumathi, Ganesh, Shobha and Manjula gave physical and mental harassment to Raghavendra Babu to bring more dowry.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic West Police Station. On 10/03/2011 at 0640 hrs near M.G. road at Ballal Bhag Mangalore one Mohammed Basheer rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Y-2423 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Annamalai (70) a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic West Police Station. On 08/03/2011 at 0915 hrs in front of Barke Police Station at Mannagudde Mangalore one Mohan rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-J-4693 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Leela (66) R/o Shakthi Nagara Mangalore a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 09/03/2011 at 1700 hrs near Mangalore Nursing Home at Balmatta Mangalore one Maharaj (25) W/o Belthangady Taluk passenger of the bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-1844 while getting down from the bus, the driver of bus moved the bus in a negligent manner due which he fell down from the bus and sustained simple injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered Ullal Police Station. On 10/03/2011 at 1330 hrs on NH-17 near City In Hotel at Permannur village Mangalore Taluk one Aboobakkar rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-22-A-6723 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a Honda Activa scooter. As a result Honda Activa scooter rider Mohammed Ashraf (23) R/o Manjeshwara Kerala State and Hendry D Souza pillion rider of said Honda Activa scooter sustained grievous injuries.

·        A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 09/03/2011 at 2200 hrs accused Shameer and other 3 persons criminally restrained one Praveen Pinto (35) R/o near Bhagani Samaja Jeppu Mangalore and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.
