·        A case of Ordinary Theft has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 14/03/2011 at 1830 hrs near PVS circle at Mangalore some unknown persons committed theft of cash Rs. 500/ and gold ornaments all in worth Rs. 1,07,500/  belonging to one Dr M Harsha Sampigetthaya R/o Macchina village Belthangady Taluk by diverting his attention.

·        A case of Ordinary Theft has been registered in Mulki Police Station. In between 1700 hrs of 11/03/2011 and 1200 hrs of 14/03/2011 some unknown persons committed theft of a Sub Marcibal Pump set worth Rs. 20,000/ belonging to one Koosayya Ameen R/o Pakshikere Thokoor village Mangalore Taluk that was kept near his house.

·        A case under Rioting, Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 12/03/2011 at 1630 hrs accused 10 to 12 persons forming into unlawful assembly near bus stand at Thokkuttu Permannur village Mangalore and criminally restrained one Barshad R/o Belma village Mangalore Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and with wooden stick and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

·        A case of Affray has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 14/03/2011 at 1240 hrs accused Prathik Shetty, Nishan Kumar, Prakash Shetty, Venkatesh, Varun, Prajwal, Harsha, Anil and Karthik picked up quarrel and started fighting over trivial issue in a public place near Deepa comports building at Kodialbail Mangalore. The Police arrested the accused and took up a case under affray (sec 160) IPC.

·        A case under the Prevention of Immoral Traffic Act has been registered in Women Police Station. On 14/03/2011 at 1800 hrs on credible information PI Women PS along with her staff conducted raid on Dhanyavadha Hotel at Hampankatte Mangalore and arrested Roshan (22) R/o Sunkadakatte Mangalore, Laxmi @ Rekha R/o Moodushedde Mangalore and Anuraja (31) R/o Bajpe Mangalore who were soliciting for prostitution there.

Missing Persons: 01

·        A case of Man missing has been registered in Panambur Police Station. One Rameshan C.T (49) R/o CISF Colony Panambur Mangalore left his house on 12/03/2011 at 0400 hrs and did not return to his house thereafter. He has been found missing since then.
