·        A case under Kidnapping, Wrongful confinement, Robbery along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 08/03/2011 at 1030 hrs accused Jillu and his wife kidnapped one Nithin (18) R/o Goltthottu village Puttur Taluk at Shediguri road Ashoka Nagara Mangalore and wrongfully confines him and robbed the cash Rs. 500 and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 09/03/2011 at 1945 hrs on NH-17 at in front of Friends Garage at Hosabettu Mangalore Taluk one driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-25-B-4004 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Shivappa Devadiga a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries. Further Shivappa Devadiga succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic West Police Station. On 09/03/2011 at 2000 hrs in front of Corporation Bank Library at Ladyhill Mangalore one Vinodh driver of Scorpio car bearing Reg. No. KA-20-N-5172 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a Maruthi car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MA-2217 due which Scorpio car moved ahead and collided against a Vagnar car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MB-3883.  As a result all the three vehicles got damaged. No causalities reported.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 09/03/2011 at 1330 hrs at Bendor Mangalore one Jayendra driver of Water Tanker lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-G-8061 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a Security Guard Shed. As a result Security Guard Shed and Water Tanker lorry got damaged. No causality reported.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 28/02/2011 at 1930 hrs one Venugopala  R/o Jogibettu Pajeer village Mangalore Taluk attempt to commit suicide by consuming poison in his house owing to personal problem. Further he was admitted to Wenlock hospital at Mangalore where he declared dead while under treatment on 09/03/2011 at 0730 hrs.
