·   A case of Ordinary Theft has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 16/03/2011 at 1430 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of gold and silver ornaments, Mobile phone and other documents from a hand bag kept in the Mehek Dress Shop at Market road Mangalore. The items belonged to one Mohammed Asif R/o Uchila post Udupi District. The stolen property is worth Rs. 2,45,000/.

·   A case under Criminal restraint along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 16/03/2011 at 1400 hrs at Kotimura Padavu village Mangalore accused Kiran Johnson criminally restraint one Philomina Velani Serrao R/o Neerumarga Mangalore and abused him in filthy language and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

·   A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 16/03/2011 at 0030 hrs near Roopa Hotel Balmatta road Mangalore one Sunil Raikar rider of Honda Activa Scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-3930 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and applied break suddenly due which the vehicle capsized. As a result Sudhakar Baliga (41) R/o Car street Mangalore pillion rider of said scooter sustained simple injuries.

·  A case under SC/ST Prevention of Atrocity along with Criminal intimidation act has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 14/03/2011 at 1000 hrs near Madani High School Alekala Ullala Mangalore one Rami R/o Alekala Ullala Mangalore abused one M. Angara @ Shivappa Attole (40) tractor driver of Ullal Town Panchayath in filthy language referring to his caste and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.


Unnatural Death Report: 02

·     A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 16/03/2011 at 1045 hrs one unknown male dead body aged about 25 to 30 yrs was found in Gurupura River at Dakke Mangalore. The death seems to be due to drowning.

·   A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 16/03/2011 at 1830 hrs one unknown male dead body aged about 25 to 30 yrs was found in pond at Kudumboor Mangalore. The death seems to be due to drowning.
