Ordinary Theft: 01

·        A case of Ordinary Theft has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 12/03/2011 at 1145 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a Laptop, a USB Pen drive, a BSNL 3G Data Card and other documents that was kept inside the car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MB-3989 belonging to one Sendhil Kumar (36) R/o Kocchi Kerala State, which was parked in front of Swagath Hotel at State bank Mangalore. The value of stolen property is yet to be estimated.

·        A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 11/03/2011 at 430 hrs accused one Michel Pinto abused his wife one Loona Pinto (46) W/o Michel Pinto R/o Ganjimata Badagulpipady village Mangalore Taluk in filthy language in her house and assaulted her by hand owing to trivial issue.

Fatal: 01

·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station where in one Malik @ Mohammed Salahuddin (20) has been declared dead while under treatment on 12/03/2011 at 2115 hrs. The said Malik @ Mohammed Salahuddin (20) was seriously injured by an unknown vehicle in a road traffic accident on 11/03/2011 at 1215 hrs On ONGC road at Baikampady Industrial Area Panambur Mangalore and admitted to the SCS Hospital at Mangalore. In this connection a case has been already registered in Panambur Police Station.

Non-Fatal: 03

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 11/03/2011 at 1215 hrs at Acchari Katte cross Bannadka Moodabidre Mangalore one Anni Gowda driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AB-8888 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-L-3121. As a result motorcycle rider Terrance Rodrigo’s and pillion rider Stewart sustained simple injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 12/03/2011 at 0930 hrs near Mangala Jyothi junction at Thiruvail village Mangalore Taluk one driver of Tipper Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-9839 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-K-7185. As a result one Sham Prakash R/o Bolara Mangalore rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 11/03/2011 at 1915 hrs on NH-17 at Kulai village Mangalore Taluk one Abdhul Khadar driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-5709 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Premanatha (47) R/o Kulai village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

·        A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Criminal intimidation along with SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act has been registered in Mangalore Rural Station. On 11/03/2011 at 2200 hrs accused one Sarasu Jogi and Vishwanatha abused one Manjula (30) W/o Keshava R/o Vaidyanatha Nagara Pacchanady village Mangalore Taluk in filthy language near her house and referring to her caste and also gave life threat him owing to trivial issue.
