·        A case of Burglary has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. In between 1515 hrs of 13/03/2011 and 0115 hrs of 14/03/2011 some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Kasheva Bhat (27) R/o Kadri Kambla Mangalore by breaking the front door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments, a Laptop, a Nokia Mobile phone and cash all in worth Rs. 1, 25,100/.

·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 13/03/2011 at 0815 hrs near Mangaladevi Temple at Mangalore one unknown driver of jeep bearing Reg. No. KL-13-N-8184 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Q-376. As a result one Prajwal (06) pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained serious injuires. Further he succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital. The tempo driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 12/03/2011 at 2300 hrs on NH-17 at Mukka Surathkal Mangalore one Kishan Yashavantha driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-8837 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which car fell into a roadside ditch. As a result one Pavan Kumar who was traveling the car sustained serious injuries and died on the spot.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 12/03/2011 at 2130 hrs at Neharu Nagara Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk one driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-5771 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result Shivalinga (23) who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.

·        A case of Boy missing has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. One Shivaraja (16) W/o Kavinakallu Kulai village Mangalore Taluk left his house on 24/12/2010 at 0700 hrs and did not return to his house thereafter. He has been found missing since then.
