·        A case of Ordinary Theft has been registered in Surthakal Police Station. In between 1240 hrs and 1300 hrs of 20/03/2011 some unknown culprits committed theft a Dell laptop computer belonging to one Vinayaka Kondapura that was kept in his room No. 125 at 3rd block N.I.T.K. hostel Surathkal Mangalore. The value of stolen property is yet to be estimated.

Motor Vehicle Theft: 01

·        A case of MV Theft has been registered in Barke Police Station. In between 1700 hrs and 1900 hrs of 01/01/2011 some unknown culprits committed theft of a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-3227 belonging to one Rajesh (36) R/o Derebail Ashok Nagara Mangalore that was parked in the parking place of Karavali Utsava Maidan at Mangalore. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 18,000/.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic Police Station. On 25/03/2011 at 1615 hrs on NH 17 near Mahaveera Circle at Mangalore one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-8099 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-4589 driven by one Yakub K (50) R/o Ammunje village Bantwal Taluk. As a result the auto rickshaw got damaged. No causalities reported.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic Police Station. On 26/03/2011 at 1215 hrs on SH-13 at Bikarnakatte Mangalore one Anil driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-D-110 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Nithin (18) R/o Adyar Padav Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 25/03/2011 at 2335 hrs at Yekkur Jappinamoger village Mangalore Taluk one driver of Bolero jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-7589 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19B-9950. As a result one Nazir driver of lorry sustained simple injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 26/03/2011 at 1140 hrs at Sevanthi Gudde Permannur village Mangalore Taluk one Mohammed Mansoor driver of an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-9179 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and applied the break suddenly due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result one Mohammed Mansoor driver of said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.
