Ordinary Theft: 01

·        A case of Ordinary Theft has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. In between 1315 hrs and 1325 hrs of 13/03/2011 some unknown culprits committed theft of cash Rs. 10,000, Mobile Phones and a Specs all in worth Rs 22,000 belonging to one Harsha Varnekar (21) R/o Karawar District that was kept inside her bag at Kairali Hotel Milagres Mangalore.

·        A case under Cruelty by Husband and his relatives along with Dowry Prohibition Act has been registered in Mangalore Woman Police Station on the complaint of one Thahira Bhanu (23)  W/o Jabir Husain R/o King court Apartment 4 th Floor Kapri Gudde Mangalore. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Jabir Husain (husband) and his relatives Maimuna (60) and Nasir (40) gave physical and mental harassment to Jabir Husain to bring more dowry.

·        A case under Rioting along with Hurt has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 07/03/2011 at 2230 hrs accused Mani Kavoor and 10 other persons forming into unlawful assembly near Felix Bazar at Mangalore and assaulted one Mohammed Sharif (42)  R/o Boliyar village Mangalore Taluk by hand and with wooden stick owing to trivial issue.

·        A case under under Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 15/03/2011 at 2130 hrs accused 3 unknown persons assaulted one Karunakara Kidiyoor (67) R/o M.R. Bhat Lane Jeppu Mangalore with wooden stick and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

·        A case under Copyright Act has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 15/03/2011 at 1540 hrs on credible information Anil Kembar Field Officer/Investigation officer of Movie Master Copy right Protection Ltd, PSI Urwa PS along with staff conducted a raid on Swasthik CD/DVD Centre at Kadri Shivabhag Mangalore and seized duplicate DVD/VCD of various company which has been copied illegally by arresting one Ravindra R/o Shivabhag Mangalore.

Unnatural Death Report: 02

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 05/03/2011 at 2030 hrs one Yellappa (45) R/o Bailabari Kellaputthige village Mangalore Taluk attempt to commit suicide by consuming poison in his house owing to personal problem. Further he was admitted to Wenlock hospital at Mangalore where he declared dead while under treatment on 15/03/2011 at 0600 hrs.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 15/03/2011 at 0930 hrs one Gulabi (70) R/o near High school at Moodumarnadu village Mangalore Taluk attempted to commit suicide by pouring Kerosene on herself near her house. She got serious burn injuries and died on the spot.

Missing Persons: 01

·        A case of Girl missing has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 14/03/2011 at 0900 hrs one Maimuna (18) R/o Nayar Lacchil Pajeer village Mangalore Taluk left her house and did not return to her house thereafter. She has been found missing since then.
