Ordinary Theft: 01

·   A case of Ordinary Theft has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 16/02/2011 some unknown culprits committed theft a laptop computer belonging to one Anusha A. M student of Sahyadri College Adyar Mangalore that was kept in her class room at College. The value of stolen property is yet to be estimated.

·     A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Criminal intimidation along with Cruelty by husband and his relatives has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station on the complaint of one Surekha L. (26) R/o PWD Quarters Moodabidre. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Kariyappa C. (husband) gave physical and mental harassment to one Surekha L. to bring more dowry and abused her in filthy language and also gave life threat her.

·   A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 25/03/2011 at 2330 hrs on NH 48 at Pumpwel Mangalore one driver of Bolero Jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-7589 drove his vehicle in rash and negligent manner and collided against one unknown pedestrian and caused him serious injuries and died on the spot.

·   A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 24/03/2011 at 1200 hrs in front of Fr. Muller hospital Kankanady Mangalore one Jayanth driver of Tata Ace Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-8806 drove his vehicle in rash and negligent manner and collided against one Vinaya (27) R/o Padil post Mangalore a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.

·  A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 24/03/2011 at 2230 hrs in front of Vidyadayini School Iddya village Mangalore one Laxman driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No. AP-23-V-8366 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a Tata Indica Car. As a result Rajesh Kotian R/o Tadambail Surathkal Mangalore driver of said car sustained simple injuries.

·  A case under Criminal trespass, Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 25/03/2011 at 1145 hrs accused Abdul Rahiman @ Kaje Monu and his wife Shahanaz criminally trespassed in to the Grama Panchayath office at Kuppe Padavu Mangalore Taluk and criminally restrained one B.A Aboobakkar (50) R/o Kelinjaru village Mangalore Taluk and abused him in filthy language and also gave life threat to him owing to family dispute.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

·   A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 25/03/2011 at 0900 hrs one unknown male dead body aged about 40 to 45 yrs was found in Uchila sea shore at Someshwara Mangalore. The death seems to be due to drowning.

Missing Persons: 01

·   A case of Man missing has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. One Arindam Kundu (35) R/o Murugeshpalya Bangalore left his room at Hotel Manorama KS Rao road Mangalore on 24/03/2011 at 0715 hrs and did not return his room thereafter. He has been found missing since then.
