·        A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Outranging the modesty of women has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 01/03/2011 at 2020 hrs accused Irfan, Ashraf and Nabisa abused one Sujatha w/o Sadananda R/o Akash Bhavana Kavoor Mangalore in filthy language near her house and outranged her modesty by pulling her dress and assaulted her by hand owing to trivial issue.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 02/03/2011 at 1030 hrs near Guru Charan Company at Baikampady Mangalore one driver of Tipper bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-1518 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Naveen a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.
·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 02/03/2011 at 0745 hrs at Melukote Padav village Mangalore Taluk one Prashanth driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-21-P-1777 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which bus capsized. As a result Herrick D Souza R/o Saripalla Mangalore and other 3 to 4 passengers who were traveling in the said bus sustained simple injuries.

·        A case under the Prevention of Immoral Traffic Act has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 02/03/2011 at 1145 hrs on credible information PI Mangalore East PS along with his staff conducted raid on Door No. 18-138 at Ramakrishna Tennis court Shivabhag Mangalore and arrested Vishal Pai (32), Mohammed Rafeeq (24) and Hameed (42) who were soliciting for prostitution there.
