The following are the crimes reported in Mangalore City Police Commissionerate during the last 24 hrs as at 1600 hrs on 29/02/2012.

·        A case under Cruelty by husband, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, hurt, along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore Women Police Station on the complaint of one Poornima (31) w/o Anil Kumar R/o Attavara Mangalore Taluk. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Anil Kumar (husband) a gave physical and mental harassment to Poornima to assault her by hand and they also gave life threat to her.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 28/02/2012 at 0730 hrs at Kayargoli  Konaje Mangalore Taluk one Dayananda Jogi  driver of 407 Tanker  bearing Reg. No. KA-19-6475 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MA-4745. As a result car driver one Deeraj Kumar (24) R/o Ullal village Mangalore sustained simple injuries.

Unnatural Death Report: 02

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On night of 27/02/2012 one Lokayya (60) was found dead at Baikampady village Mangalore Taluk. The death seems to be heavy drunkenness.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 25/02/2012 at 0900 hrs one Annappa Pai (55) R/o Badaga Yekkaru village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by consuming some poison in his house owing to personal problem. Further he was admitted to Hospital at Kinnigoli where he declared dead while under treatment on 28/02/2012 at 0900 hrs.

Missing Persons: 02

·        A case under Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mulki Police Station. One Vinaya (18) Mennabettu village Mangalore Taluk left her house on 27/02/2012 at 1500 hrs and did not return to her house thereafter. She has been found missing since then.

·        A case of Boy missing has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 24/02/2012 at6 0800 hrs one Brijesh (15) R/o Kavoor Mangalore Taluk went to school at Mangalore and did not return his house thereafter. He has been found missing since then.
