·        A case under Cruelty by Husband and relatives, Dowry Prohibition Act along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Surathkal Police Station on the complaint of Latha @ Lalitha (32) W/o Naresh R/o Pavoor village Manjeshwara Kerala state. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Naresh (husband) and his relatives Sadashiva, Prema and Pushpa gave physical and mental harassment to Latha @ Lalitha to bring more dowry and also gave life threat to her.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 20/02/20121 at 2110 hrs on NH 66 at Padavu Junction at Mangalore one Praneeth P.S Neel rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EA-406 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Ashok Kumar (39) R/o Koppal Kadu Konchady Mangalore a pedestrian caused him simple injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic west Police Station. On 19/02/2012 at 1530 hrs one unknown driver of Tata Sumo bearing Reg. No. KA-16-A-2244 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against compound wall. As a result compound wall got damaged. No causalities reported. The Tata Sumo driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle. 

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 20/01/2012 at 2030 hrs one driver of Tata-Sumo bearing Reg. No. KA-05-D-924 drove his vehicle in rash and negligent manner and collided against one Ravindra Singh (29) R/o Haryana State a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

·        A case under Rioting, House trespass, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Criminal Intimidation along with Mischief of causing damage has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 21/02/2012 at 0730 hrs at Central Market Mangalore accused Imran and Azar forming into an unlawful assembly and criminally trespassed into the canteen belonging to one Moosa Kunhi R/o Kasaragodu District Kerala State at and abused him in filthy language and damaged the canteen by breaking the Telephone owing to trivial issue. The damage is caused ye to be estimated.

·        A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal Intimidation has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 21/02/2012 at 1230 hrs at Auto Rickshaw Park Baikampady Mangalore accused one Sanded R/o Surathkal abused one Tharanatha R/o Baikampady Mangalore in filthy language and assaulted him with beer bottle and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

Unnatural Death Report: 02

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 21/02/2012 at 0730 hrs one unknown male dead body aged about 40 to 45 yrs was found at sea shore at Idya village Surathkal Mangalore. The death seems to be a case of drowning.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 21/02/2012 at 0730 hrs one dead body of Padmanabha @ Paddanna (30) R/o Kunjathbail Mangalore was found near bus stand at Padavinangady Mangalore. The death seems to be due to heavy drunkenness.
