Fatal: 02

·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 18/02/2012 at 2110 hrs at Bunts hostel Mangalore one Brain Charles D’Souza rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EB-6243 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which the motorcycle capsized. As a result motorcycle rider Brain Charles D’Souza sustained serious injuries. Further he was admitted to KMC hospital at Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on 19/02/2012 at 0400 hrs.

·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 19/02/2012 at 0130 hrs one Dinesh driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-13-8808 drove his vehicle in a rash negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EA-5559. As a result motorcycle rider Jayaprakash and pillion rider Kruthik sustained grievous injuries. Further Jayaprakash died on the spot.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 19/02/2012 at 1130 hrs near KPT Junction at Kadri Mangalore one driver of Car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-9963 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EA-9277 As a result motorcycle rider one Abyuri Pinto (42) R/o chilimbi Mangalore Taluk and pillion rider Srinivas Nayak sustained simple injuries.

·        A case under Hurt along with Attempt to Murder has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 19/02/2012 at 1930 hrs near Joythi Nagar at Kunjathbail Mangalore Taluk accused one Raviraj and Kepra Mahesh attempted to murder one Cellambarus by assaulting him with sickle owing to trivial issue.

·        A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 19/02/2012 at 2000 hrs accused Sathish and Ashok abused Saadu (37) R/o Mundukuru village Mangalore Taluk him in filthy language near Vijaya Bar at Mundukuru village Mangalore Taluk and assaulted him with soda bottle and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 19/02/2012 at 0300 hrs one Cyril D’Souza accidentally fell down in his house. Further he was admitted to KMC hospital at Mangalore where he declared dead while under treatment on the same day. The death seems to be due to some illness.
