· A case under MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. In between 2230 hrs of 13/02/2012 and 0415 hrs of 14/02/2012 Veejendra Shet, Rajendra Pawar (27) and other persons committed theft of a chavarlet car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MB-8989 which was seized through mahazar on the basis of Kilpok PS Cr. No. 488/10 on 12/02/2012. Further that car was parked near Hindusthan hotel at Hampankatte Mangalore. The worth of chavarlet yet to the estimated.
· A case of MV theft has been registered in Barke Police Station. In between 2100 hrs of 12/02/2012 and 0900 hrs of 13/02/2012 some unknown culprits committed theft of a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-ED-1661 belonging to one Mohammad Ashraf (48) R/o Mangaladevi Road Mangalore Taluk which was parked in front of Shalini Enclave Apartment Mangalore Taluk. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 45,000/.

· A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 15/02/2012 at 0830 hrs at Beluvai village Mangalore Taluk one Subhash K Suvarna driver of Nano Car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MB-8002 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EC-77. As a result motorcycle rider Ranjith Shetty (19) R/o Aloor village Kundapura Taluk and pillion rider Krishnananda Shetty sustained serious injuries. Further Krishnananda died on the spot.

· A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 10/02/2012 at 1030 hrs at Bolara Mangalore Taluk one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-8708 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a bicycle. As a result bicycle rider one Joseph D’ Souza (70) R/o Manki Stand Mangalore sustained simple injuries. The motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
· A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic West Police Station. On 15/02/2012 at 1220 hrs at Matadakani Cross Mannagudda Mangalore one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-ED-8559 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MB-7605. As a result motorcycle rider and pillion rider sustained simple injuries.
· A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 15/02/2012 at 0800 hrs at Karinje village Mangalore Taluk one driver of Bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AD-5451 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-372. As a result motorcycle rider Udaya Kumar sustained grievous injuries.
· A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 14/02/2012 at 1500 hrs at Baikampady Mangalore Taluk one driver of Tipper Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-5825 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against an Electric poles belonging to MESCOM Mangalore. No casualty reported. The worth of 6 Electric poles damage caused is Rs. 1, 58,000/.
