·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 12/02/2012 at 1430 hrs at Bajpe village Mangalore Taluk one driver of Swaraj Mazda mini Bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-8423 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner collided against Electric pole and lost control over his vehicle due which the bus capsized. As a result Sanjay Kumar Yadav, Manikchand and Jogishwar passenger of said bus sustained serious injuries and died on the spot. The some other passengers who were traveling in the said bus also sustained grievous injuries.

Non-Fatal: 02

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 10/02/2012 at 1015 at near Bondel village Mangalore Taluk one Girijamma (72) R/o Padavinangady Mangalore Taluk a passenger of the bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-5031 while getting into the bus, the driver of bus moved the bus in a negligent manner due which she fell down from the bus and sustained simple injuries. The bus driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle. 

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 12/02/2012 at 1545 hrs at Kulai village Mangalore Taluk one driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MA-7810 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one M. Venkata Rao (56) R/o Kulai village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
