·        A case under Rioting, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Mischief of causing damage, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 01/02/2012 at 1200 hrs accused Pavithra Sen, Nithya and other 03 persons forming into an unlawful assembly with deadly weapons and abused Sushmitha Sen and Priya Sen R/o Nellikaru village Mangalore Taluk near their house in filthy language and assaulted them by hand. They also damaged the TV and other articles and also gave life threat to them owing to civil dispute between them.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 01/02/2012 at 0530 hrs on NH 66 near Panambur Circle at Panambur Mangalore one driver of unknown Lorry drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EB-9094. As a result motorcycle rider one Mushraf Ahmed and Sundar Poojary a pedestrian sustained grievous injuries. The lorry driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

·        A case of Counterfeiting currency has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station on the complaint of Gunashekhar, Senior Manager Canara Bank Nellikayi Road Mangalore where in it is alleged that on 20/12/2011 some unknown customers came to the Canara Bank Nellikayi Road Mangalore and deposited cash. On checking, bank officials found a counterfeit currency of face value Rs. 500/.
