·        A case of MV theft has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. In between 2130 hrs of 21/02/20132 and 0230 hrs of 22/02/2012 some unknown culprits committed theft of a Hero Honda Splendor plus motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Y-3738 belonging to one Dinesh Shetty (27) R/o Kashipatna village Belthangady Taluk that was parked at public place near Mahalingeshwara Temple at Marpady village Mangalore Taluk. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 25,000/.

Fatal: 01

·    A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 23/02/2012 at 1135 hrs at Karnadu village Mangalore Taluk one Sayyed driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-8962 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EB-5913. As a result motorcycle rider Nagaraj (24) R/o Athikaribettu village Mangalore Taluk and pillion rider Naveen sustained serious injuries. Where in Naveen succumbed to his injuries and died on the spot.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic west Police Station. On 22/02/2012 at 1730 hrs at Bavutagudde Mangalore one driver of Bus bearing Reg. No. KA-18-D-9777 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner due to which one Mohammad Abbas (60) R/o Bavutagudde Mangalore who was a passenger of said Bus was thrown out of the Bus and sustained grievous injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 22/02/2012 at 1130 hrs at Thalipady village Mangalore Taluk one driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-2785 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a Kinetic Honda scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-K-9286. As a result scooter rider one Sudharshan Pai R/o Thalipady village Mangalore Taluk and sustained simple injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic West Police Station. On 21/02/2012 at 2130 hrs at Kodialguthu Mangalore one driver of car bearing Reg. No. KL-58-A-9869 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KL-11-AG-2896. As a result motorcycle rider one Manu sustained grievous injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 23/02/2012 at 1830 hrs at Muloor village Mangalore Taluk one Chandrashekar driver of bus bearing Reg.No.KA-19-C-8404 drove his vehicle in rash and negligent manner and collided  against a motorcycle bearing Reg.No.KA-19-EB-9648 driven by one Shivaram Kukwan (38) R/o Muloor village Mangalore Taluk .As a result the motorcycle  got damaged. No causalities reported.

·  A case of Woman missing has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 22/02/2012 at 1030 hrs one Sunitha (38) Ullalbail Mangalore Taluk went to went to beauty parlor shop at Balmatta Mangalore and did not return her house thereafter. She has been found missing since then.
