·    A case of Burglary has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. In between 0930 hrs and 1845 hrs of 16/02/2012 some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one A Vittal Rao (60) R/o Shakthi Nagar Mangalore Taluk by breaking the door lock and committed theft of Laptop, web camera, gold and silver ornaments and cash Rs. 4,500/ all in worth Rs. 1,52,500/.

Ordinary Theft: 01

·    A case under Ordinary Theft has been registered in Barke Police Station. In between 1720 hrs and 1745 hrs of 15/02/2012 some unknown culprits committed theft of a gold chain, bag, and cash Rs 10,000/. All in worth Rs. 88,000/ belonging to one Balakrishna (62) R/o Kerala State while he was traveling in a bus.

Motor Vehicle Theft: 01

·        A case of MV theft has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 10/02/2012 at 2110 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-110 belonging to one Kwin Sequvera which was parked in front of Bekar’s corner Bakery Ladyhill Mangalore. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 27,000/.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 16/02/2012 at 0810 hrs one driver bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-D-2499 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and applied break suddenly near Aravind motors at Kuloor village Mangalore Taluk due which one Giri Bahudoor R/o Panambur village Mangalore Taluk a passenger in the said bus was thrown out from the bus and sustained grievous injuries.

·        A case under House trespass, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 15/02/2012 at 1145 hrs accused Vijay, Divakar and Suresh came in a Tavera car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-5269 and criminally trespassed into the house belonging to one Udaya R/o Kondemoola village Mangalore Taluk and abused him in filthy language referring to his caste and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 16/02/2012 at 0630 hrs one Laxmi Kumari (20) R/o Mullakadu Kavoor village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by hanging in her house owing to personal problem.

Missing Persons: 01

·        A case of Man missing has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. One Ramakrishna Acharya (52) R/o Keasrugadde Beluvayi village Jayakar (52) R/o lower car street Mangalore Taluk left his house on 11/02/2012 at 0830 hrs and did not return to his house thereafter. He has been found missing since then.
