·      A case of Burglary has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. In between 2000 hrs of 08/02/2012 and 0900 hrs of 09/02/2012 some unknown culprits gained entry into the Indo-Arya central  Transport   at Kandathpalli Mangalore  and committed theft of 09 Boxes of Cashew that were kept inside the shop belonging to one Mukesh Kumar (29) Manager of  Indo-Arya central Transport Mangalore. The worth of stolen property is Rs. 55,519/.

Motor Vehicle Theft: 02

·       A case of MV Theft has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. In between 02/02/2012 and 1800 hrs of 07/02/2012 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a Bajaj pulsar motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-2501 belonging to one Vinod Saliyan (50) R/o Thenka Yekkaru village Mangalore Taluk that was parked in front of his house. The motorcycle is worth Rs.20, 000 /.

·        A case under Ordinary Theft has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On the interviewing night of 04/02/2012 some unknown culprits committed theft of Electrical cable drums and Copper cable drums belonging to Toya Engineering Company at Baikampady Mangalore that was kept in company premises. The worth of stolen property is yet to be estimated.

·        A case under Hurt has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 09/02/2012 at 1730 hrs at Derebail Mangalore Taluk accused one Krishna Shetty assaulted one Vijaya Shetty (38) R/o Derebail Mangalore Taluk by knife owing to trivial issue.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 09/02/2012 at 1245 hrs at Kankandy village Mangalore. One driver of bus bearing Reg. No KA-19-B-8989 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Janardhana Acharya a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 09/02/2012 at 2200 hrs at Marakada village Mangalore Taluk one driver of Bus bearing Reg. No. Ka-19-C-3101 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-3108. As a result motorcycle rider one Sujith sustained grievous injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 08/02/2012 at 1530 hrs at Niddodi Kallamundkur village Mangalore Taluk one driver of Tipper Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-05-B-6899 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EA-417. As a result motorcycle rider one Kavin Cardoza (17) R/o Kinnigoli Mangalore Taluk sustained grievous injuries. 

·      A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 09/02/2012 at 0915 hrs near Vidya nagar Surathkal Mangalore one Akshay rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-ED-3266 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and suddenly applied break due which the motorcycle capsized.  As a result motorcycle rider Akshay and pillion rider Shrishay sustained grievous injuries.

·       A case under Hurt, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 08/02/2012 at 1830 hrs near bus stand Moodushedde Mangalore accused one Thimmappa R/o Moodushedde Mangalore abused one Seena Jogi R/o Moodushedde Mangalore in filthy language and assaulted him with hand and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

Unnatural Death Report: 02

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 09/02/2012 at 0830  hrs one Lokanatha Shettigar (35) R/o Konaje village Mangalore Taluk accidentally fell down from the building while working at Fr. Muller Hostel building Kankanady Mangalore. Further he was admitted to Fr. Muller hospital at Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on the same day at 1515 hrs.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 09/02/2012 at 0500 hrs one Sharanappa R/o Boloor Mangalore was found dead in his room. The death seems to be due to some illness.
