Gambling Raid: 08 Arrested, Rs 23,070/. Seized

On 07/02/2012 at 1630 hrs a police team consisting of ACP Central Division Mangalore City along with staff on specific information conducted raid on Roopa hotel at Balmatta Manglore. At the time of raid Police found 08 persons playing “Ander - Bahar” with cards. Police seized cash Rs. 13,070/, and playing cards from the spot by arresting Rajesh, Paashurama, S. Shreenu, G Venkatesh, G. Ashok, T Santhosh Kumar, Kashi Vishwantha Reddy who were indulging in gambling.

In this connection, a case has been registered against the arrested persons in Mangalore North PS U/s 78, 80 of the Karnataka Police Act.
