·        A case of Ordinary Theft has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 26/10/2011 accused Akshay and Vidya Sagar Reddi committed theft of ATM card belonging to one Shivaraj (17) R/o Shirahatti Taluk presently at Alvas Hostel at Moodabidre Mangalore and drawn cash of Rs. 11,900 by using that ATM card from Canara Bank ATM’s at Moodabidre Mangalore.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 19/02/2012 at 2120 hrs at Balmatta Mangalore one Vikram Kumar rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Y-1039 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a new car from backside driven by one Safeem (27) R/o Hosangady village Belthangady Taluk. As a result motorcycle rider one Vikram Kumar sustained simple injuries. 

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 18/02/2012 at 0900 hrs at Balmatta Mangalore one unknown rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-L-7876 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Shilpa (31) R/o Kotekar Mangalroe a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries. The motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

·        A case under Criminal restraint, Hurt, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 19/02/2012 at 2100 hrs accused Yasir, Rasheed and others criminally restrained one Abdul Jabbar (25) /o Mallur village Mangalore Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hnd and also gave life thrat to him owing to previous enmity.

·        A case under Karnataka Excise Act has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 20/02/2012 at 1500 hrs on credible information PSI Crime along with staff conducted a raid on open place at Kuttikula Mallur village Mangalore Taluk and seized 72 liquor bottles (180ML) of worth Rs. 3,750/ by arresting Lokayya Poojary (35) R/o Mallur village Mangalore Taluk.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 20/02/2012 at 1100 hrs one Seetharam Shetty R/o Jappina Mogru village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by hanging in his house owing to  personal problem.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On the night of 19/02/2012 one Rolly Bangera R/o Permannur village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by hanging in near house owing to personal problem.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On the night of 20/02/2012 at 1300 one Seetharama Shetty (53) R/o Jeppinamogru village Mangalore committed suicide by hanging in his house owing to personal problem.
