The following are the crimes reported in Mangalore City Police Commissionerate during the last 24 hrs as at 1600 hrs on 15/02/2012.

Murder: 01

·        A case under Murder has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 14/02/2012 at 2000 hrs at accused 4 unknown persons murdered one Dinesh Raj near Ladygoshan bus stop at Mangalore by assaulting him with sickles. they also assaulted one Deepak K (43) R/o Athavara Mangalore Taluk assaulted him with sickle who came to help Dinesh Raj. Owing to trivial issue.

Burglary: 02

·        A case of Burglary has been registered in Mulki Police Station. In between 1900 hrs of 13/02/2012 and 1330 hrs of 14/02/2012 some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one K.H Muneer (41) R/o Karnaadu village Mangalore Taluk by breaking the back door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments, Atm cards, cheque   books pan cards and cash Rs.1, 25,000 all in worth Rs. 7, 25,000/.

·        A case of Burglary has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. In between 2230 hrs of 13/02/2012 and 0700 hrs of 14/02/2012 some unknown culprits gained entry into the Mobile shop at Bajpe village Mangalore Taluk belonging to one Abdul Hafeez (28) R/o Bajpe village Mangalore Taluk by breaking the door lock and committed theft of mobile phones, Battery and Mobile Currency and cash Rs.53,000/.all in worth Rs. 1, 50,000/.

Fatal: 01

·       A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 13/02/2012 at 1115 hrs at Kankanady village Mangalore Taluk one one driver of car bearing Reg. No. MH-02-CB-1885 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which car capsized. As a result one Rithesh sustained serious injuries. Further he was admitted to the KMC hospital at Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on the same day at 2345 hrs.

Non-Fatal: 01

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 14/02/2012 at 0945 hrs at Kankanady village Mangalore Taluk one driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-01-D-3857 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a new motorcycle. As a result one Shabeer (23) driver of motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. 14/02/2012 at 0215 hrs one Ravindra was found dead in his room at Thiruvailu village Mangalore Taluk. The death seems to be due to some illness.
