·        A case of Murder has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 25/02/2012 at 2300 hrs near Thotabengre Ferry services at Kasaba Mangalore Taluk accused one Cheluvaraj was murdered one Cheluva @ Cheluvaraj by assaulting with wooden stick. Motive seems to be some financial dispute between deceased Cheluva @ Cheluvaraj and accused person.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 26/02/2012 at 1645 hrs at Adyarkatte Mangalore Taluk one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-ED-44 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Parvathi a pedestrian and caused her grievous injuries.

·        A case under Rioting, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 25/02/2012 at 1345 hrs accused Althaf, Habeeb Barumane and Ashraf Kaanakere forming into an unlawful assembly at Kanachoor School at Belma village Mangalore Taluk and abused one Afeezuddin in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Moodbidre Police Station. on 26/02/2012 at 1700 hrs  one Ramachandra (40) R/o Kallabettu village Mangalore Taluk  committed suicide by hanging at his house owing to personal problem.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 25/02/2012 at 1900 hrs one Shakunthala R/o Vamanjoor village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by hanging at her house owing to heavy drunkenness.
