·        A case of Burglary has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. In between 27/02/2012 and 29/02/2012 some unknown culprits gained entry into the KPTCL Godown at Kavoor Mangalore Taluk belonging to one Pushpananda Shetty (34) R/o Mannagudde Mangalore Taluk by breaking the door lock and committed theft of 20 packets of  Bolt, search monitor 06 boxes and Isolator  all in worth Rs 1,62,250/.

Motor Vehicle Theft: 01

·        A case of MV theft has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. In between 1930 hrs and 2115 hrs of 26/02/2012 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a Kinetic motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-24-E-36611 belonging to one Rekha (37) R/o Kavoor Mangalore Taluk that was parked at a public place near his house. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 20,000/.

·         A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 29/02/2012 at 0815 hrs at Adyar village Mangalore Taluk one Murali driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AC-2265 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner lost control over his vehicle due which Lorry capsized. As results Sudhakar and Rajashekar of the said Lorry sustained serious injuries and died on the spot.

·        A case under Rioting, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Criminal intimidation along with SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 29/02/2012 at 0800 hrs accused Prakash, Baby and other 2 persons  forming into an unlawful assembly at Kondamoole village Mangalore Taluk  and abused one Laxman Mugera R/o Kondamoole village  Mangalore Taluk in filthy language referring to his caste and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

Unnatural Death Report: 03

·        A case under Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Konaje Police Station. In between 1800 hrs of 27/02/2012 and 0800 hrs of 08/02/2012 one Ranjith (43) R/o Shakthi Nagar Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by hanging near his house owing to personal problem.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 29/02/2012 at 1600 hrs one unknown dead body aged about 50-55 years was found near Muthappagudi at Railway station Mangalore. The death seems to be due to some illness.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 29/02/2012 at 0800 hrs one Jaya (25) R/o Badaravathi Taluk Shivamoga District accidentally got serious burn injuries while lighting a kerosene lamp in her house and she was admitted to Wenlock hospital at Mangalore where she succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on 1330 hrs.
