On 17/03/2012 at 1435 hrs at Attavara Mangalore one Kavitha (35) R/o Padil Alape Mangalore was her way to KMC hospital Attavara Mangalore. At that time two unknown persons came in a motorcycle and snatched the Mangalsuthra from her neck and ran away. The value of the property is Rs. 80,000/.

·    A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 17/03/2012 at 1945 hrs near Chekpost at Adyar Mangalore one unknown car driver drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Sudhakaran C/o Mines and Geological dept Pandeshwar Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries and died on the spot. The car driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore Urwa Police Station. In between 17/03/2012 at 0500 hrs one Govinda Karkera (60) R/o Bejai Mangalore accidentally slipped into the Gurupura river at Sulthan batteri Mangalore while walking and died of drowning.

·        A case of Boy missing has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 16/03/2012 hrs one K. Abdul Rahiman R/o Falneer Mangalore went to Medical at Hampankatta Mangalore and did not return to his house there after. He has been found missing since.
