The following are the crimes reported in Mangalore City Police Commissionerate during the last 24 hrs as at 1600 hrs on 11/03/2012.

·        A case of Burglary has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. In between 2330 hrs of 09/03/2012 and 1900 hrs of 10/03/2012 some unknown culprits committed theft a laptop computer belonging to one Shradda Rao (25) R/o Vignesh Residency Jeppu Mangalore Taluk that was kept in his house. The value of stolen property is worth Rs. 15,000/.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 09/03/2012 at 1830 hrs near RTO office at Mangalore one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-4244 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EA-2985. As a result motorcycle rider Narayana(35) R/o Bolara Mangalore Taluk and pillion rider Vinod Kumar  sustained simple injuries.

·        A case has been registered against the arrested persons in Panambur PS U/s 87 of the Karnataka Police Act. On 10/03/2012 at 1930 hrs on specific information PSI Panambur PS along with staff conducted raid on open place near IOCL at Panambur Mangalore. At the time of raid Police found 08 persons playing “Ander - Bahar” with cards. Police seized cash Rs. 4,350/ and playing cards from the spot by arresting Abdul Azeez, Divakara, Suresh K.N, Suresh Rai, Laxmisha, Sathish Kumar, Mohammad Ali and Kushalappa  who were indulging in gambling.

·     A case of Girl missing has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. on 10/03/2012 at 1300 hrs  one Sukanyya (17) R/o Kallamoodkuru village Mangalore Taluk went out from her house and did not return to her house thereafter. She has been missing since then.

·        A case of Girl missing has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 10/03/2012 at 1600 hrs one Shalwin Anusha Dayas R/o Mariya Nagar Mangalore Taluk went out from her house and did not return to her house thereafter. She has been missing since then.
