       ·        A case of Burglary has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. In between 20/12/2011 of 2130 hrs and 21/12/2011 of 0915 hrs  some unknown culprits gained entry into the GMMCO Ltd  at Kulai Mangalore belonging to one Prakash Nayak R/o Kunjibettu Udupi District by breaking the shutter lock and committed theft of  1 Laptop and cash Rs 1,25,980 all in worth Rs. 1,50,000/.

Fatal: 01

        ·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 04/01/2012 at 0900 hrs on NH 66 at Hosabettu village Mangalore one driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-6597 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Savithri a pedestrian and caused her serious injuries. Further Savithri admitted to A.J hospital at Mangalore where she declared dead while under treatment on same day.

       ·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 03/01/2012 at    1800 hrs at Kavoor Junction Mangalore Taluk one Ashok driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EA-7907 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Sajan (9) R/o Kavoor village Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

       ·        A case under Criminal restraint, to deter public servant from discharge of his duty, Intentional insult                with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Panamburu Police Station. On 28/11/2011 at 1600 hrs accused one B.M Anwar criminal restrainted one M.T Bhimayya Village Accountant and abused him in filthy language at Bengre village Mangalore Taluk also gave life threat to him while he was on duty at there.

·        A case under Causing death due to negligence (sec 304 A) has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 04/01/2012 at 1300 hrs one Devendra (19) who was working on the 4th floor P.B residency at Bendoorwell Mangalore accidentally fell down to ground and got serious injuries died on the spot due to the negligence of Jeral’d D’Souza the Contractor of building.
