·        A case of Burglary has been registered in Ullal Police Station. In between 2400 hrs of 23/01/2012 and 0600 hrs of 24/01/2012 some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Abdul Ravoof (29) R/o Munnur village Mangalore Taluk by breaking the back door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments and cash of Rs.5000/ all in worth Rs. 2, 00,000/.

·        A case of MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. In between 1830 hrs of 21/01/2012 and 0800 of 23/01/2012 some unknown culprits committed theft of a 407 tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-7260 belonging to one Jagadish Poojary (35) R/o Kankanady village Mangalore  that was parked in front of Embassy Plaza Pampwell at Mangalore.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 23/01/2012 at 1830 at Jappinamogru village Mangalore Taluk one auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. Ka-19-A-5455 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one P. Jayaram Shettigar (31) R/o Ullal village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 24/01/2012 at 1230 hrs on NH 66 at Thalapady village Mangalore Taluk one driver of car bearing Reg. No. KL-14-H-7444 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a Maruti-800 car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-M-167 and also collided against a KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-2876. As a result Mohammad Basheer (32) R/o Vidya Nagar Mangalore Taluk and other 3 persons who were traveling in the said car sustained grievous injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 23/01/2012 at 1645 hrs at Bajpe village Mangalore Taluk one driver of Tipper lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-7276 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Y-3012. As a result motorcycle rider one Praveen Pinto R/o Permude village Mangalore Taluk sustained grievous injuries.

·        A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 23/01/20132 at 1730 hrs accused one Harish and Riyaz criminally restrained one Naveenchandra R/o Thokuru Mangalore Taluk near Baikampady village Mangalore Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

Unnatural Death Report: 03

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Ullal Police Station. In between 23/01/2012 and 06 hrs of 24/01/2012  one Gunapala  (61) R/o Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk jumped into the well near his house and died due to drowning owing to health problem.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 19/01/20121 at 1900 hrs one Girish Poojary (27) R/o Mannagudda Mangalore Taluk accidentally got serious burn injuries while lighting a kerosene lamp in his house and he was admitted to Fr. Muller hospital at Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on 23/01/2012 at 1905 hrs.

Missing Persons: 02

·        A case of Man missing has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. One Kumar R/o Shakthi Nagar Mangalore Taluk left his house on 22/01/2012 at 1000 hrs and did not return to his house thereafter. He has been found missing since then.

·        A case of Man missing has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. One Harishchandra (25) R/o Mithoor village Sullia Taluk left his house on 22/01/2012 at 1000 hrs and did not return to his house thereafter. He has been found missing since then.
