·        A case of Burglary has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. In between 1345 hrs of 28/01/2012 and 0845 hrs of 30/01/2012 some unknown culprits gained entry into the Vidyadayini English Medium school at Surathkal Mangalore by breaking the front door lock and committed theft of 2 computer and Trophy’s all in worth Rs. 45, 000/.

·        A case of MV Theft has been registered in Bajpe Police Station.  In between 1230 hrs and 1400 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a Tata indica car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-D-1579 belonging to one Ashok (31) R/o Shibaroor Mangalore Taluk that was parked in front of Sowndarya palace Hall at Kateel Mangalore Taluk. The car is worth Rs. 3, 50,000 /.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 29/01/2012 at 1930 hrs at Katipalla village Mangalore Taluk one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EB-1888 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-4726. As a result rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-4726 one Vasanth R Kulal (24) R/o Pachanady village Mangalore Taluk sustained grievous injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 30/01/2012 at 1445 hrs at Thiruvailu village Mangalore Taluk one Mohammad Ashraf driver of auto rickshaw driver bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-6115 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one A. Ashraf R/o Ulaibettu village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries.

·        A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 30/01/2012 at Marpady village Mangalore Taluk accused one Rafeeq Gantalkatte criminally restrained one Vijay Kumar (42) R/o Pranthya village Mangalore Taluk at Moodabidre Town Mangalore Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 30/01/2012 at 0845 hrs one unknown male dead body aged about 35 to 40 yrs was found near Chelar railway bridge Surthkal Mangalore Taluk. The death seems to be due to some illness.

Missing Persons: 01

·        A case of Woman missing has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. One P T Sumathi (57) R/o Konchady village Mangalore Taluk left her house on 27/01/2012 at 0830 hrs and did not return to her house thereafter. She has been found missing since then.
