·        A case of MV Theft has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On the interviewing night of 01-02/01/2012 some unknown culprits committed a theft of a lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-9696 belonging to one Thilak Raj (27) R/o Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk that was parked near syndicate bank at Kulai village Mangalore Taluk. The worth of lorry is Rs. 3, 00,000/.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 12/01/2012 at 1415 hrs at Bendoorwell circle Mangalore one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-ED-6234 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against an activa Honda motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EA-1384. As a result activa honda rider one Prakash (38) R/o Yedapadavu Mangalore Taluk and pillion rider Jayaram and also collided against Suma Suprith and Joys Kisthabal Soans pedestrian and caused them grievous injuries. The rider of motorcycle escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
