·        A case under Robbery, criminal restraint along with House trespass has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 22/01/2012 at 1155 hrs accused Suresh and Harish criminally trespassed into the house belonging to one Vinay V Bhat (37) R/o Kodialguthu Mangalore Taluk and criminally restrained him and forcibly took away a cheque of Rs. 25, 00,000/ from him.

·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 22/01/2012 at 1000 hrs on NH 66 at Surathkal Junction Mangalore one unknown vehicle drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Sadashiva (50) R/o Idya village Surathkal Mangalore Taluk pedestrian and caused him serious injuries and died on the spot.

·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 21/01/2012 at 1500 hrs at Alape village Mangalore one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-21-K-5839 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Narayana a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries.

On 21/01/2012 at 2230 hrs at Bokkapatna Mangalore Taluk accused one Ramanna abused one Lokesh (30) R/o Jappina Mogeru village Mangalore Taluk in filthy language and also assaulted him with wooden stick owing to trivial issue.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 22/01/2012 at 1600 hrs one Praveen Ferao (22) R/o Bangra Kuloor Mangalore Taluk accidentally slipped into Gurupura river at Gurupura Mangalore Taluk while fishing in a boat and died to due drowning.
