·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic West Police Station. On 28/01/2012 at 1045 hrs in front of Mangalore City Corporation at Lalbaug Mangalore one unknown rider of unknown motorcycle drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against Sumangala (24) and Abhilash (03) pedestrians and caused them grievous injuries. The lorry driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 27/01/2012 at 1215 hrs at Puthige village Mangalore Taluk one Shameen Raj driver of Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-4176 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which Tempo capsized. As a result one Bhuvanendra Kulal (29) Bajal village Mangalore traveling in said tempo was thrown out of the tempo and sustained grievous injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 28/01/2012 at 1550 hrs at Ullal village Mangalore Taluk one driver of an Auto Rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-8234 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-7077. As a result motorcycle rider one Amith Kumar sustained grievous injuries.

·        A case of Rioting, Criminal restraint, Criminal trespass, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 28/01/2012 at 0800 hrs accused Valerian D’Souza, Iqbal and others forming into unlawful assembly at Kalavaru village Mangalore Taluk and criminally trespassed into the premises of MRPL and criminally restrained Manik and Manoj and assaulted them by hand and also gave life threat to them owing to trivial issue.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. In between 2030 hrs and 2100 hrs of 28/01/2012 one Benna D’souza R/o Moodushedde village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by hanging in his house owing to personal problem.
