·        A case under Servant theft has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 07/01/2012 one Leela who was working as a house maid in the house of one Gulabi Puthran R/o Meenakaliya Mangalore Taluk committed theft of gold ornaments of the same house. The stolen property is worth Rs. 3, 50,000/.

·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 07/01/2012 at 1900 hrs on NH 66 at Surathkal village Mangalore Taluk one unknown rider of motorcycle drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one unknown female person a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries. She was admitted to Srinivas hospital at Mukka Mangalore Taluk where she succumbed to her injuries while under treatment on the same day.

·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 07/01/2012 at 2040 hrs on NH 66 at Baikampady village Mangalore Taluk one driver of KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-2668 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one unknown male person a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries. He was admitted to Padmavathi hospital at Surathkal Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on 08/01/2012 at 0800 hrs.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 08/01/2012 at 1700 hrs at Ullal village Mangalore Taluk one Prabhakar driver of tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-4067 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Prashanth (28) R/o Bolara Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 08/01/2012 at 1115 hrs on NH 75 at Alape village Mangalore Taluk one Devendra driver of KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-2859 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-1654. As a result Vasanthi (45) R/o Uppala Kasaragod District and Rajeevi who were traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 08/01/2012 hrs at Kinya village Mangalore Taluk one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AC-5677 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against an electric pole. As a result electric pole got damaged. No causalties reported. The damage is caused about Rs. 25,000/.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulky Police Station. On 07/01/2012 at 1330 hrs at Thokuru village Mangalore Taluk one Ronald Karkada driver of Mini bus bearing Reg. No. KA-42-698 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19--5678. As a result Harish Poojary (36) R/o Idya village Mangalore Taluk sustained simple injuries.

·        A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 07/01/2012 at 2245 hrs accused Ragu @ Raghuveer and Putta @ Puttu Perumal criminally restrained one Benny John R/o Panamburu village Mangalore Taluk near Koori katte Panambur Mangalore Taluk and abused him in filthy language and also assaulted him by hand owing to trivial issue.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 08/01/2012 at 0930 hrs one Prakash Feravo (30) R/o Ullal village Mangalore Taluk accidently fell down in his house due to some health problem. Further he was admitted to Fr Muller hospital at Mangalore where he declared dead while under treatment on same day. The death seems to be due to some illness.
