A case of Robbery has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station relating to an incident of chain snatching. On 29/12/2011 at 2245 hrs at Falnir road Mangalore Taluk one S.B Yelburgi (74) R/o Falnir road Mangalore was his way to home by walk. At that time one unknown person snatched the gold chain from his neck and brasslight from hand and ran away. The worth of stolen property is yet to be estimated.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 31/12/2011 at 2345 hrs at Ambedkar circle Mangalore one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-02-S-799 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a Bajaj scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-J-7845. As a result rider of Scooter rider one Manjunath (40) R/o Maidan Road Mangalore sustained simple injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 02/01/2012 at 1000 hrs at Permude village Mangalore Taluk one Ramachandra driver of Tipper lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-9525 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner in backward direction and collided against another Tipper lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-18-A-1193 driven by one Raffique (27) R/o Shakthi Nagar Mangalore Taluk. As a result both vehicles got damaged. No causalities reported.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 02/01/2011 at 2000 hrs on NH 75 at Jeppina Mogeru Mangalore Taluk one unknown rider of Kinetic scooter drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-K-2226. As a result motorcycle rider one Vasantha (27) R/o Navoor village Belthangady Taluk and pillion rider Vijay Monish sustained simple injuries. The rider of kinetic scooter escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 02/01/2012 at 0600 hrs one Unknown male dead body was found near Nireshwalya road Mangalore. The death seems to be some illness.
