·        A case under Servant theft has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. In between 1015 hrs of 10/12/2011 and 0800 hrs of 12/12/2011 one Surendrawho was working in the house belonging to one Prashanth (36) R/o Balikashrama road Kankanady Mnaglore committed theft of gold ornaments worth Rs. 11, 920/ from the Almera of the same house.

Motor Vehicle Theft: 01

·        A case of MV theft has been registered in Ullal Police Station. In between 0200 hrs and 0900 hrs of 29/12/2011 some unknown culprits committed theft of an Alto car bearing Reg. No. KL-54-A-6568 belonging to one Fasil Abdul Rehman (23) which was parked near Pandith house Mangalore Taluk. The car is worth Rs. 2, 00,000/.

Fatal: 01

·     A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 31/12/2011 at 0830 hrs near Hotel Atithi at Thalipady village Mangalore Taluk one Vinod rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-01-ES-1315 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Doreswami (50) a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries and motorcycle rider Vinod also sustained grievous injuries. Further Doreswami succumbed to his injuries on the way to hospital.  

Non-Fatal: 03

·     A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 30/12/2011 at 1630 hrs on NH 66 at Kulai village Mangalore Taluk one Pailon driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No. KL-08-AM-2799 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle and suddenly applied break. As a result one Denny cleaner of said lorry thrown out of the lorry and caused him grievous injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 26/12/2011 at 0015 hrs near KSRTC junction Mangalore one Jayarama driver of an Auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-8387 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which the vehicle capsized. As a result one Sudhakara (40) R/o Kodialbaila Mangalore who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw and Jayarama driver of said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 30/12/2011 at 1020 hrs on Balmatta road Mangalore one driver of an Auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-5833 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which the vehicle capsized. As a result one Preethi M. Aranha (38) R/o Kankanady Mangalore who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.
