·      A case of MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 26/01/2012 at 1000 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a Hero Honda Splendor Plus motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EA-1771 belonging to one Mohammad Irshad R/o Kunjathbail Mangalore Taluk  that was parked at in front of Gold palace at K.S Rao Road Mangalore. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 30, 000/.

·       A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 27/01/2012 at 0945 hrs at Jokatte Mangalore Taluk one driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. HR-55-N-5243 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a Motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EB-5112. As a result motorcycle rider one Abdul Salaam sustained serious injuries and he succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital. The lorry driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 27/01/2012 at 0730 hrs at Paldadi Belma village Mangalore Taluk one Prakash rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EC-5816 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and applied break suddenly due which he lost control over his vehicle and vehicle capsized. As a result motorcycle rider Prakash and pillion rider Sundar Bangera R/o Amblamogaru village Mangalore Taluk sustained grievous injuries.

·    A case under Criminal trespass, Criminal restraint and Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 27/01/2012 at 0230 accused 2 unknown persons criminally trespassed into the house belonging to one G.R Shyamalal (29) R/o Harekala village Mangalore Taluk and criminally restrained him and assaulted him by hand and with wooden stick and also gave life threat to them owing to trivial issue.
