·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 17/01/2012 at 1945 hrs on NH 66 at Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EC-7388 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Raghav Poojary (55) a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries. Further he admitted to KMC hospital at Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on same day.

·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 17/01/2012 at 1850 hrs at Bajpe village Mangalore Taluk one driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MA-3096 drove his vehicle in a rash negligent manner and collided against a bicycle. As a result one Ifaz rider of bicycle sustained grievous injuries and died on the way to hospital.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 14/01/2012 at 1730 hrs at Kandawara Mangalore Taluk one Ravi driver of auto Rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-8246 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-D-3854. As a result auto rickshaw driver sustained simple injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 17/01/2012 at 0945 hrs at Vas lane Mangalore Taluk one driver of Bolero car bearing Reg. No. KA-04-MA-5573 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-219. As a result one motorcycle rider Amala Johb (22) R/o Vas lane Mangalore Taluk sustained grievous injuries.

·        A case of Girl missing has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 16/01/2012 at 0930 hrs one Vinitha Cristina (18) R/o Mulihithlu Mangalore went to work at Kankanady Mangalore and did not return to her house thereafter. She has been found missing since then.

·        A case of Boy missing has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 16/01/2012 at 1900 hrs one Abbu @ Vazeer (15) Idya Surathkal Mangalore Taluk left his house and did not return to her house thereafter. She has been found missing since then.
