·        A case of Murder has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 19/01/2012 at 2220 hrs near Shakthi Nagar at Padavu village MangaloreTaluk accused Ganesh R/o Ashraya colony Padavu village Mangalore Taluk were murdered one Narasimha R/o Ashraya colony Padavu village Mangalore Taluk by stabbing with iron rod. Owing to trivial issue.

·        A case of MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. In between 11/01/2012 of 1600 hrs and 17/01/2012 of 1330 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a Honda Unicorn motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-7262 belonging to one Manoj K.K R/o Kottara Mangalore Taluk that was parked in front of Central railway station Mangalore. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 15,000/.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 17/01/2012 at 1900 hrs at Adduru village Mangalore Taluk one Riyaz Ahammad Husain driver of auto Rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-6797 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EC-8760. As a result one motorcycle rider Prassad (25) R/o Boliya village Mangalore Taluk and one pillion rider Suresh sustained grievous injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 18/01/2012 at 1000 hrs on NH 17 at Moolur village Mangalore Taluk one driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-9315 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EC-2632. As a result one motorcycle rider Mohammad Rizwan (20) R/o Ulaibettu village Mangalore Taluk sustained grievous injuries.

·        A case under Rioting, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 18/01/2012 at 1530 hrs accused Abhishek and other Persons forming into an unlawful assembly at S.N.S Polytechnic Sunkadakatte Mangalore Taluk and abused one Raispan D’Souza (20) R/o Kanaje Mangalore Taluk in filthy language and assaulted him with hand and gave life threat to them owing to trivial issue.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Panamburu Police Station. on 18/01/2012 at 1415 hrs one K. Vishwanth Kulal (42) R/o Thokuru  village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by hanging in his house owing to personal problem.
