·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 25/01/2012 at 1215 hrs at Beluvai village Mangalore Taluk one Chandra P driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-8516 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner due which one Riyaz (20) R/o Thodar village Mangalore Taluk who was traveling in the said bus was thrown out of the bus and sustained grievous injuries and died on the spot.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 25/01/2012 at 0830 hrs at Kulai village Mangalore Taluk one driver of Tipper lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-34-A-4264 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-7781. As a result motorcycle rider Manjunath R (29) R/o Mulky Mangalore Taluk and pillion rider Santhosh sustained grievous injuries. Further pillion rider Santhosh died on the way to hospital.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic West Police Station. On 25/01/2012 at 1345 hrs at Bojaraja lane Mangalore one Vittal Shetty driver of New Jeep drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-ED-2059. As a result motorcycle rider Sathish Shetty (31) R/o Alake Mangalore and pillion rider Divya sustained grievous injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 25/01/2012 at 1030 hrs at Derebail Mangalore Taluk one driver car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-9790 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Mohan Poojary (65) R/o Derebail Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 21/01/2012 one Jainab R/o Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk accidentally got serious burn injuries while lighting gas stove in her house and she was admitted to hospital where he succumbed to her injuries while under treatment on 24/01/2012.

Missing Persons: 02

·        A case of Girl missing has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. One Shilpa (26) R/o Kuntikana Mangalore who went to her house on 20/01/2012 at 1800 hrs and did not return to her house thereafter. She has been found missing since then.

·        A case of Boys missing has been registered in Barke Police Station. One Puttaraj and paschal Pereira left White Doves on 24/01/2012 at 1700 hrs and did not return to his White Doves thereafter. They has been found missing since then.
