· A case of Theft by Servant has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. In between 1930 hrs and 2200 hrs of 15/01/2012 accused one Padam who were working as a housemaid in the house belonging to one Narendra Sharma (43) R/o Athavara Mangalore Taluk committed theft of gold and silver ornaments, watch, mobile and laptop from the Almera of the same house. The worth of stolen property is yet to be estimated.

· A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulky Police Station. On 15/01/2012 at 2330 hrs at Haleyangady village Mangalore Taluk one driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-6036 drove his vehicle in a rash negligent manner and collided against an Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-20-M-7430. As a result one passenger of Omni car Basheer Ali (34) R/o Udupi District, Abdul Hameed, Abdul Khadar Ifath and Imath sustained grievous injuries. Further Abdul Hameed succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.

· A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 14/01/2012 at 1730 hrs at Kandawara Mangalore Taluk one Ravi driver of auto Rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-8246 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-D-3854. As a result auto rickshaw driver sustained simple injuries.
· A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 15/01/2012 at 1500 hrs on NH 66 at Kotekar village Mangalore Taluk one Harshwardhan driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MB-1413 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA19-Y-2298. As a result one motorcycle rider Pushpa Kumar R/o Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk sustained grievous injuries.
· A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 15/01/2012 at 1945 hrs on NH 66 at Kuntikana Mangalore one new motorcycle rider drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Dayananda (50) R/o Ashok Nagar Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

On 15/01/2012 at 2330 hrs at Chitra Takies accused one Ganesh and Uday Singh criminally restrained one Dhana Rama (28) R/o car street Mangalore and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.
· A case under Rioting, Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 16/01/2012 at 1330 hrs accused Sahul Hameed, Nisaar, Areef and other persons forming into an unlawful assembly and criminally restrained one Jochim D’Costa (52) R/o Bajpe village Mangalore Taluk at Bajpe Mosque Bajpe village Mangalore Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

· A case of Boys missing has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. One Meldan Rodrigues (17) and Jeevan Rodrigues (17) R/o Mangalore Taluk left his house on 16/01/2012 at 1300 hrs and did not return to his house thereafter. He has been found missing since then.
