·        A case under Rioting, Attempt to murder, Robbery along with Mischief causing damage has been registered in Urwa Station. On 24/02/2011 hrs at 1530 hrs accused Sunil Saliyan, Sharan and other 13 unknown persons came in a Maruthi Omni car and forming into unlawful assembly with deadly weapon in the R.N. Garage shop at Kottara Chowki Mangalore and attempted to murder one Nelson D Souza (27) R/o Kottara Chowki Mangalore by assaulted him with sword and with iron rod and then forcibly took away cash Rs. 1, 00,000 from his shop and also damaged the shop by pelting stone.

·        A case under Servant Theft has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. In between 2130 hrs of 23/02/2011 and 0900 hrs of 24/02/2011 one Suraj S.P R/o Mysore District who was working in Feature Fitness Shop at Kodialbail Mangalore committed theft of cash Rs 42,000/ from the same Shop.

·        A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 22/02/2011 at 1600 hrs in the DSS Office at Stone Land Tower Mangalore accused Vishukumar, S.P. Ananda and Praveen Kumar abused one Yamuna w/o. Guruvappa R/o Bondanthila village Mangalore Taluk in filthy language and assaulted her by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic West Police Station. On 24/02/2011 at 0600 hrs near Main Gate at Central Market Mangalore one driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-01-D-8926 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Arun (33) R/o Padil Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 24/01/2011 at 1515 hrs near Madycare Centre at Bunts Hostel Mangalore one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AA-2112 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-47-H-5295. As a result motorcycle rider Sandesh Kumar and Ananda B. S (22) R/o Kankanady Mangalore pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 24/02/2011 at 1530 hrs near Kulashekara school at Mangalore one jeep driver of bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MA-369 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Varun Anchan a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 23/02/2011 at 1530 hrs at Kavoor junction at Mangalore one Shivarama Nayak driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MA-9060 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-4538. As a result motorcycle rider one Lathish (21) R/o Kunjathabail Mangalore sustained simple injuries.

·        A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 24/02/2011 at 1530 hrs in the R.N. Garage at Kottara Chowki Mangalore accused 4 unknown persons abused one Anil (28) R/o Bikarnakatte Mangalore in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and with iron rod and gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.  

·        A case under Criminal trespass, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 23/02/2011 at 1300 hrs accused one Padmanabha criminally trespassed into the shop at Katte Kolambe village Mangalore Taluk belonging to one Jocy Pinto and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him with knife and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

·        A case of Man missing has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 20/02/2011 at 2300 hrs one Ganapathi (30) R/o Bhatkal Taluk who went to Arabian Sea near Alive Bhagilu Mangalore. There he accidentally fell in to river and got washed away. He has not been traced so far.
