·        A case of outranging the modesty of women along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in the Mangalore South Police Station. On 08/02/2011 near City bus stand at Mangalore accused one unknown person abused one Divya (17) R/o Vijayanagara Padil Mangalore in filthy language and tried to outrage her modesty by pulling her hand and gave life threat to her.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 08/02/2011 at 1215 hrs near Ganesh Mahal at Konaje village Mangalore Taluk one Prabhuraj Soans driver of pick up vehicle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-3833 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EB-6232. As a result motorcycle rider Thaha Mohammed Abbas (20) R/o Thalapady village Mangalore Taluk and Sulaiman pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

·        A case under Criminal restraint along with Hurt has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 08/02/2011 accused unknown two persons criminally restrained one Jayakara (27) near City bus stand at Mangalore and assaulted him by hand owing to trivial issue.

·        A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 08/02/2011 at 1800 hrs in front of Dubai Market at Central Market Mangalore accused Sirajuddin and others abused one Santhosh Poojary (38) R/o Arkula village Bantwal Taluk in filthy language and assaulted him by hand owing to trivial issue.

Unnatural Death Report: 02

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 06/02/2011 at 1615 hrs one Master Subhan (03) R/o Bunts Hostel Mangalore accidentally fell down from terrace while he playing in his house and sustained serious injuries. Further he was admitted to Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries on 08/02/2011 at 1100 hrs.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 08/02/2011 at 1430 hrs one unknown male dead body aged about 45 to 50 yrs was found near Nethravathi River at Jappinamogeru village Mangalore Taluk. The death seems to be died due drowning.
