·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 10/02/2011 at 1915 hrs on NH-17 at Kuntikana Mangalore one Jayantha rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-14-Y-8428 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Thimmappa (60) a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries. Further Thimmappa (60) admitted to A.J. hospital at Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on someday at 2040 hrs.

·        A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Criminal force to deter public servant from discharge along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 10/02/2011 at 1230 hrs accused Raghavendra Rao, Ravindra @ Ravi and another one person abuse one Abhijith B Special Thashildar Mangalore Range in filthy language and gave life threat to him while he was on duty at 2^nd Block Katipalla village Mangalore Taluk.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. In between 0330 hrs of  and 1300 hrs of 10/02/2011  one Sumathi (25) R/o 6^th Block Katipalla village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by jumping into the well near her house.
