· A case under Murder has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On the 05/02/2011 at 1730 hrs at Tarolikadu Kompadavu village Mangalore Taluk one Shanmukhayya S. Hiremutt R/o Tarolikadu Kompadavu village Mangalore Taluk killed his wife Neelambika by strangulation. The motive seems to be some personal problem.

· A case of MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. In between 1900 hrs of 19/01/2011 and 0300 hrs of 20/01/2011 some unknown culprits committed theft of a Mahindra Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-8117 belonging to one Iqbal Katta R/o Bajal village Mangalore that was parked near Check post at Kannur village Mangalore. The tempo is worth Rs. 1, 70,000/.

· A case under Hurt, Cruelty by husband and his relatives along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station on the complaint of one Emilian Helen Pais (27) W/o Neil Antony Rodrigues R/o Balmatta garden Mangalore. In the complaint it is alleged that one Neil Antony Rodrigues (husband) gave physical and mental harassment to her and assaulted her by hand also gave life threat to the complainant to bring more dowry.
· A case under Cruelty by husband and his relatives along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Surathkal Police Station on the complaint of one Savitha (26) w/o Jagadish Shetty R/o Chelyaru village Mangalore Taluk. In the complaint it is alleged that one Jagadish Shetty (husband) gave physical and mental harassment to her and also gave life threat to the complainant to bring more dowry.
· A case under Cruelty by husband and his relatives along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station on the complaint of one Roopa w/o Yogananda Parameshwarayya R/o Shakthi nagar Mangalore Taluk. In the complaint it is alleged that Yogananda Parameshwarayya (husband) his relatives Leelavathi, Sandhya @ Nirupama, Balachandra, Chandraprabha and Shantha gave physical and mental harassment to her and also gave life threat to the complainant to bring more dowry.

On 04/02/2011 at 1915 hrs near Milagris Church Hampanakatte Mangalore one driver of Maruti Omni car bearing Reg. No. GA-01-S-7483 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EB-5879. As a result scooter rider Pramila (32) R/o Morgansgate Jeppu Mangalore and pillion rider her son Tanmay sustained grievous injuries.
· A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 05/02/2011 at 1100 hrs near Kinnigoli church Mangalore Taluk one Srinivasa driver of Tipper lorry drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-8521. As a result the car got damaged. No causalities reported.
· A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 05/02/2011 at 0930 at Kamalapadvu Mudipu village Mangalore Taluk one Navaneeth A rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-L-4294 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Jalajakshi P (50) R/o Koornadu village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.

· A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. In between 2200 hrs of 04/02/2011 and 0730 hrs of 05/02/2011 one Keshava Shetty (60) R/o Bikarnakatte Mangalore committed suicide by hanging near his house owing to personal problem.
· A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 05/01/2011 at 1600 hrs one Vasantha (04) R/o Tenkayedapadavu village Mangalore Taluk accidentally slipped into the pond near his house while playing and died due to drowning.
Missing Persons: 01
· A case of Man missing has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. One Umarabba (50) R/o Iddya Village Mangalore Taluk went to Kuwait on 07/07/2008 and did not return to his house thereafter. He has been found missing since then.
