·        A case of Robbery has been registered in Konaje Police Station relating to an incident of chain snatching. On 02/02/2011 at 1945 hrs one Pavithra (22) D/o Ramanna R/o Kisan Nagara Harekala village Mangalore Taluk was her way from home by walk. At that time accused one unknown person aged about 30 Yrs snatched the gold chain from her neck and ran away. The value of the property is Rs. 15,000/.

Burglary: 01

·        A case of Burglary has been registered in Barke Police Station. In between 1930 hrs of 01/02/2011 and 0900 hrs of 02/02/2011 some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Jeevan Kumar M (33) R/o Adwaitha Apartment Bhavanthi Nagara Kodialgutthu Mangalore by breaking the door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments worth Rs. 1,05,000/.

·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 02/02/2011 at 0820 hrs near KPT junction at Sapthagiri Bunk Mangalore one driver of Bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-6696 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner due which Ganesh , Deelip and Anthappa who were traveling in the said bus was thrown out of the bus and sustained serious injuries. Further they were admitted to A.J hospital at Mangalore wherein Ganesh was declared dead while under treatment on the same day at 1030 hrs.

·        A case under Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 02/02/2011 at 1930 hrs at First Kolya Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk accused one Lokesha assaulted one Krishna Bhat with sickle and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

·        A case under Hurt has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 02/02/2011 at 1530 hrs near Koggara Hotel at Padavu village Mangalore Taluk accused one Rajani @ Rajesh assaulted one Sathish R/o Kulashekara Mangalore with soda bottles owing to personal enmity between them.

·         A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 02/02/2011 at 1545 hrs accused Prasanna, Sacchu and Dodda @ Anil abused one Rajaneesh in filthy language near Koggara Hotel at Padavu village Mangalore Taluk and assaulted him with knife owing to personal enmity between them.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 01/02/2010 at 1930 hrs one Gulabi (65) R/o Konchady Mangalore committed suicide by jumping into the Palguni River at Pacchanady Bajpe Mangalore owing to personal problem.

Missing Persons: 01

·        A case of Man missing has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On Narendranatha (38) R/o Ashok Nagra Dambel Mangalore left his house on 19/11/2010 at 1200 hrs and did not return to his house thereafter. He has been found missing since then.
