·        A case of Burglary has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. In between 01/11/2010 and 16/02/2011 some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Yevalin Castrolino (81) R/o Falnir Mangalore by breaking the door door lock and committed theft of 2 Ceiling Fan and other house hold items all in worth Rs. 15,000/.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic Police Station. On 16/02/2011 at 1500 hrs on NH-17 at Nanthoor circle Mangalore one driver of a lorry bearing Reg. No. KL-55-B-6110 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MA-2471. As a result Karmin Pinto (48) R/o Kulashekara Mangalore, Hilda D’ Sa and Valter D Souza who were traveling in the car sustained simple injuries.

·        A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 16/02/2011 at 2030 hrs accused Abdhul Rahiman, Gafoor, Azeez and Iliyas criminally restrained one Aboobakkar Siddiq R/o Kuduvai Balepuni village Bantwal Taluk near his house and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

·        A case under Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 16/02/2011 at 2000 hrs accused Siddiq Kudva, Unchi Bhava, Sathyapal, Navaz and others assaulted one Mohammed Azar (32) R/o Kajarmar Balepuni village Bantwal Taluk by hand near his house and also gave life threat to him owing trivial issue.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Urwa Police Station. In between 1200 hrs and 1330 hrs of 16/02/2011 one Rururaj (19) R/o BSNL Quarters Ladyhill Mangalore committed suicide by hanging in his house owing to personal problem.
