·     A case of MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. In between 2130 hrs of 19/02/2011 and 0800 hrs of 20/02/2011 some unknown culprits committed theft of a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-L-7355 belonging to one Rajesh Alva (38) R/o Police Quarters Pandeshwara Mangalore that was parked in the premises of his house. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 20,000/.

Crime against Women: 02

·       A case under Rape along with Cheating has been registered in Mangalore Woman Police Station where in it is alleged that one Mohammed Nayeem (24) R/o Kadathpalli Kudroli Mangalore had sexual intimacy with a Twenty fifth year girl of Mangalore Devi cross road Mangalore by promising to marry her. There upon he cheated her by refusing to marry her.

·        A case under Outrage modesty of woman along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 21/02/2011 at 1615 hrs accused one Mansoor Mohammed (15) outraged modesty of one Pooja (08) D/o Padmini R/o Ketthikallu Thiruvail village Mangalore Taluk by pulling her hair near her house and also gave life threat to her.

Fatal: 01

·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 21/02/2011 at 1745 hrs on NH-17 at NITK Surathkal Mangalore one Sunil driver of auto bus bearing Reg. No. KA-20-A-7895 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a scooty scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EB-3985. As a result scooty scooter rider Ronald D’ Carstha and Baby pillion rider of said scooty scooter sustained serious injuries. Further Ronald D’ Carstha and Baby succumbed to their injuries while on the way to hospital.

Non-Fatal: 02

·      A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 02/02/2011 at 1530 hrs on NH-48 at Valacchil Arkula village Mangalore Taluk one Fazil Rehaman rider of a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-1577 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which motorcycle capsized. As a result one Junaid pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries. 

·     A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 14/02/2011 at 2045 hrs on NH-17 at Ekkur Mangalore one Jabbar driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MB-5665 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-5629. As a result Umesha (49) R/o Ekkur Mangalore and Harish who were traveling in the said tempo sustained grievous injuries.

Unnatural Death Report: 02

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 01/02/2011 one Mallikarjuna (67) R/o Indira Nilaya Kotekaru village Mangalore Taluk attempt to commit suicide by consuming poison in his house owing to personal problem. Further he was admitted to K.S. Hegde hospital at Deralakatte Mangalore where he declared dead while under treatment on 21/02/2011 at 1415 hrs.

·     A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 02/02/2011 at 1030 hrs one Shekara Belchada (35) R/o Kodakkal Kannur village Mangalore Taluk accidentally fell down from the tree while cutting branches of the tree and got seriously injured. Further Shekara Belchada (35) was admitted to Colaco hospital at Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries on same day.
