The following are the crimes reported in Mangalore City Police Commissionerate during the last 24 hrs as at 1600 hrs on 15/02/2011.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 14/02/2011 at 0915 hrs near Sri Mahaganapathi Temple at Ganjimata Badagulipady village Mangalore Taluk one driver of a Tipper Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-1261 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-21-M-7083. As a result car got damaged. No causality reported.
·         A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 13/02/2011 at 1500 hrs on SH-13 at Putthige village Mangalore Taluk one driver of Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-2197 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-L-7503. As a result one Abdhul Rahiman (40) R/o Thodaru village Mangalore Taluk rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.

·        A case under House Trespass Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 13/02/2011 at 1330 hrs accused Rajin, Husain, Ashraf and Thala criminally trespassed into the house belonging to one Abdhul Hameed U.K (63) R/o Flat No-02 Falnir Park Apartment Mangalore and abused him in filthy language and gave life threat to him owing trivial issue.

Unnatural Death Report: 02

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 11/02/2011 at 1200 hrs at Urwa Chilimbi Mangalore one Hanumanthappa (65) accidentally fell down from the building while working in the building and got seriously injured. Further he succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.
·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. In between 1000 hrs and 1100 hrs of 14/02/2011  one Karthik (19) fell into the deep sea while fishing while fishing along with Purushotham Mendan (45) R/o Idya village Mangalore Taluk, Dhanraj and Praveen fishermen in a boat at Arabian Sea Surathkal Mangalore. The boat capsized and while the Purushotham Mendan (45), Dhanraj and Praveen swam to the shore, said Karthik (19) died due to drowning.
