Ordinary Theft: 01

·        A case of Ordinary Theft has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 12/02/2011 at 1330 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of cash Rs. 4,500,  a  C-5 Nokia Mobile Phone and other documents belonging to one Sumathi M R/o near Adapa Hospital Pandeshwara Mangalore which was kept inside her bag in the Aloha Training Centre at View complex Milagres Mangalore. Total value of the stolen property yet to be estimated.

·        A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 11/02/2011 at 2120 hrs  accused one Parameshwara Hegde (40) abused his wife one Poornima (33) W/o Parameshwara Hegde R/o Morarji Desai School Quarters Karinje village Mangalore Taluk in filthy language near her house and gave life threat to her owing to family dispute between them.

Fatal: 01

·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 11/02/2011 at 1600 hrs at Malavooru junction Malavoor village Mangalore Taluk one unknown motorcycle rider drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Y-3624. As a result motorcycle rider Ashoka Acharya R/o Bajpe village Mangalore Taluk and Jagadhisha Pai pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained serious injuries. Further they admitted to A.J. hospital at Mangalore where in one Jagadhisha Pai was declared dead while under treatment on same day at 2030 hrs. The unknown motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

Non-Fatal: 02

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 12/02/2011 at 1710 hrs in front of Fire Station at Kuntikana Mangalore one driver of a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-4403 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-7187. As a result motorcycle rider Shwetha Kumar and Nishanth (22) R/o Bantwal Taluk pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 12/02/2011 at 0800 hrs in front of Mescom Colony at Kavoor Mangalore one Irina Pinto rider of a Honda Activa scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Y-6822 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Kamala Nail R/o Kavoor Mangalore a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.

Missing Persons: 01

·        A case of Woman and Child missing has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 07/02/2011 at 0130 hrs one Fouzia(32) W/o Nazeer R/o near Imperial Hotel Kudroli Mangalore left her house along with her child Nihan (05) and did not return to her house thereafter. They have been found missing since then.
