·        A case under Burglary has been registered in Mulki Police station. In between 2000 hrs and 2100 hrs of 28/12/2011 some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Apoli Aranha (74) R/o Talippady village Mangalore Taluk by breaking the door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments and cash Rs.600/  The total worth of stolen property is Rs. 1,10,600/.

·        A case of MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. In between 27/12/2011 of 2030 hrs and 28/12/2011 of 0830 hrs one some unknown culprits committed theft of Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-5861 along with Iron rod belonging to Manjunath transports Mangalore which was parked at the premise of Ribco Trading Company Kulshekara Mangalore. The total worth of stolen property is Rs. 8, 42,574/.

·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 28/12/2011 at 0040 hrs at Porkodi cross Bajpe village Mangalore Taluk one Dheeraj driver of Maruti car bearing Reg. No. KA-04-MC-9999 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which the car fell down into a roadside ditch. As a result driver of said car Dheeraj sustained serious injuries and died on the spot.

·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 29/12/2011 at 1430 hrs at Adyar village Mangalore Taluk one driver of Maruti Omin car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-8811 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Venkappa Shettigar (80) R/o Arkula village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and sustained him serious injuries. Further he succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.

Non-Fatal: 02

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 29/12/2011 at l730 hrs at Beluvayi village Mangalore Taluk one Sekappa Neelappa Menasagi driver of Innova car bearing Reg. No. KA-22-B-3397 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EA-7027. As a result motorcycle rider one Grainal Dhanthi sustained grievous injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 29/12/2011 at 1600 hrs at Pachanadi village Mangalore one Padmanabha driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-22-6095 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and clouded aganst a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-ED-6501. As a result Mohamed Riza pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 29/12/2011 at 0915 hrs one Pradeep R/o Rivera lodge Mission street  Mangalore  committed suicide by hanging in his house owing to personal problem
